Established in 1821, the quaint town of LaGrange is named
after the ancestral estate of the wife of the Marquis de Lafayette. It is
located in the majestic lower Hudson River Valley in Dutchess County and is home
to approximately 16,000 residents.
The town’s location puts residents at the doorstep of a
myriad of outdoor recreation opportunities, shopping, dining and entertainment afforded
by the town and its surrounding communities. The town’s largest park, Freedom
Park, features a spring-fed lake, large lap pool, bandstand and expansive outdoor
pavilion. Other attractions and outdoor venues include a golf course, sports
complex, playgrounds and hiking and biking trails.
